Warpstar, Inc. is an intellectual property company. Formed in 2001, it is a joint venture between HAL Laboratory and Nintendo. It is responsible for managing the Kirby IP, originally for the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime series. The company has remained in operation after the end of the anime series, now working in licensing and supervision of the characters in games, merchandise and other media. Both HAL Laboratory and Nintendo each own a 50% stake in Warpstar Inc.
