An article structure is useful in determining what categories, templates and sections should be seen on every page of a specific content type. This is to help the reader of said pages, as they will be able to learn what to expect on certain pages, in which improves their ability to read a page at first glance, and to find information on a page, should they ever return to it later on.

- Blurb, a saying that can be usually found in the back of the box art, grabbing the attention of the reader. These things disappear in later titles.
- Story, self-explanatory; can be excluded if a video game title doesn't have a storyline. For example, Yoshi's Cookie, and 'Yoshi'.
- Gameplay, self-explanatory.
- Technical Details
