EarthBound (Japanese: マザー MOTHER) is a series of role-playing games developed by Nintendo, debuting on the Nintendo Entertainment System with the release of 'Mother' in Japan, and on the Super Nintendo with 'EarthBound' elsewhere. Most of the series was unreleased in areas other than Japan.
