Project M was the name of the collaborative development team for Metroid: Other M.[1] Headed by Yoshio Sakamoto, the main development staff was made up of employees from Nintendo and Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja, while a third company, D-Rockets, was brought in to work on the game's cinematics; in total, Project M consisted of over 100 members.[2]
