Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are upcoming Nintendo Switch games and remakes of Nintendo DS games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions. Unlike the originals, these games were not directly developed by Game Freak; the main work is by ILCA.[1][2]
The games feature updated 3D graphics while maintaining a top-down perspective like the original games. The art style is reminiscent of the The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Nintendo Switch), but full 3D battles return like in the more recent games such as Pokémon Sword and Shield.
