Plot

Like with the previous games the player is a human that has been turned into a Pokémon, within a world inhabited only by Pokémon. In the game, players awaken in Serene Village, and is taken in by a Nuzleaf, as the player is a Pokémon child. Later they encounter the Expedition Society, whose goals are to help Pokémon in trouble, create a map of the world, and try to understand the mysteries of the world. At the same time, several Pokémon, including legendary Pokémon, have been turning to stone.

Gameplay

Like with the previous installment, this game makes use of full 3D graphics, while also retaining the series' traditional gameplay. Unlike past games, every single Pokémon currently released is included in this game. Generation VI gameplay mechanics such as the Fairy type and Mega Evolution have also been incorporated into this game.
