Pokémon Picross is a cancelled puzzle game in the Pokémon series originally planned to be released for the Game Boy and the Game Boy Color. It was announced in Japanese magazine(s) in 1999, but it was never released or mentioned again for unknown reasons. Although it was unreleased, a Super Famicom game titled Picross NP Vol. 1 was released in Japan later that year which included 12 Pokémon-themed puzzles.
In 2015, a game also known as Pokémon Picross was released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, also developed by Jupiter and published by Nintendo.
The full game was eventually leaked during the 2018-2020 Nintendo, Microsoft data breaches.
