The Virtual Console is a feature of the Wii's Wii Shop Channel, as well as the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. Through the Virtual Console, Nintendo and other video game companies sell games from previous generations. Games released for the Wii Virtual Console include games originally released on the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, TurboGrafx-CD, Neo Geo, Commodore 64, and MSX, as well as some arcade games. The Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console has games originally released on the Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
