Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a side-scrolling 2D platformer game in the Super Mario series. It is the first traditional 2D Super Mario game since New Super Mario Bros. U, which was released in 2012.

Share the wonder with friends and Mario fans
Team up with up to three friends locally and gather around one Nintendo Switch console to experience the game-bending Wonder Effects together as you tackle courses as a team, and help each other on your way to the goal.
Gameplay
As one of twelve playable characters (Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Yellow Toad, Blue Toad, Toadette, four Yoshis and Nabbit), the player travels through levels in the Flower Kingdom, assisted by the talking flowers that live there. Mario and friends collect Wonder Seeds in this game. Four new power-ups are introduced, the Wonder Flower that completely transforms characters, levels and enemies, and new power-ups including the Elephant Fruit, which transforms Mario into Elephant Mario, the Bubble Flower, which transforms Mario into Bubble Mario, and the Drill Flower.
