Gameplay
Game modes
This game features multiple game modes, from which only Toad Scramble is unlocked from the beginning of the game. Here are all the game modes:
- Toad Scramble-
- Coinathlon-
- Mario Shuffle- This game mode for 2 people has the players move three figures to the end of a linear, one-way board. The red team races to the very right of the board, while the blue team races to the very left of the board. Every turn, both players roll 2 Dice Blocks, and decide which two of their figurines to move. If a figurine steps in its path over one of the figurines of the opponent, then the figurine of the foe will be unable to move for one turn. If a player's figurine lands right on one of the foe's figurines, then the figurine of the foe will be bounced back to the beginning of the board. The player that gets his entire team to the other end of the board first wins.
- Balloon Bash-
- Rhythm Recital- In this game mode 1-4 players must cooperate to sync their button presses with the beats of famous Mario music tracks. First, every player chooses an instrument, then they will either touch on the Touchscreen or press the A button in rhythm with one of ten different music tracks. At the end, players get awarded a grade depending on their performance - getting lots of Perfect grades and as few as possible misses will make the score bigger.
- Challenge Tower-
- Boo's Block Party-
