Ukikipedia is an encyclopedia that presents technical information about Super Mario 64. Named for Ukiki, a monkey character introduced in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island that would go on to appear in Super Mario 64. The wiki's primary purpose is to serve the Super Mario 64 speedrunning community by providing deeper technical information on the game that other resources, including Super Mario Wiki, do not. The wiki also features guides for speedrunning and challenges.
Ukikipedia also hosts Ukikipedia News, a subsection of the site dedicated to reporting the latest news on the Super Mario 64 community. The Ukikicast, a podcast started and hosted by members of the community, is also featured on the site.
History
Ukikipedia was originally founded on June 8, 2018, by the user Stick, encouraged by members of the A Button Challenge Discord server.
The wiki would join the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance on May 9, 2021, as the 27th member. It is the first wiki to cover a single video game, Super Mario 64, within a preexisting franchise, that being the Super Mario franchise.
