Mario Bros. is the first game in the Super Mario series, and the first game to include Luigi. It was originally an arcade game released in 1983, but was ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System as well as many other systems. It was also remade and included with multiple games.
Story
Two plumbers, Mario and Luigi work in the sewers. Strange creatures are appearing in waves, and they must stop them and collect coins to receive their pay.
Gameplay
Mario Bros. only has one stage through out the entire game. The game has endless waves of enemies that come out of pipes such as Shellcreeper. These enemies can be defeated by jumping and hitting the floor below them and then kicking them away. The player must defeat all enemies in a wave to move on to the next phase. In later levels, more species of enemies will appear. Occasionally, a bonus game where the player collects coins will occur.
