It is a remade version of Super Mario All-Stars which was released in segments every week with Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. The game features SoundLink support meaning it is narrated while playing.

BS Super Mario USA: Power Challenge would also serve as a Satellaview only continuation of Super Mario Bros. 2.
