Mini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge is a game in the Mario vs Donkey Kong series of games, released as a free digital download on the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in early 2016. The game is the first in the series to make use of amiibo.

Gameplay
Players must guide their mini toys to the goal by manipulating the stage as they walk. By tapping the amiibo for a compatible Super Mario character, the player can use one of eleven Mini toys based on the character scanned; for any other amiibo, the player instead controls a Mini Spek toy.
