Wario's Woods is a puzzle game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. Wario's Woods was the final officially-licensed game to be released for the NES, and because of its late release is the only NES game to have received an ESRB rating at the time of its original release. The original SNES version of the game was never released in Japan.

Story
Wario and his monsters have invaded the Peaceful Woods, turning it into Wario's Woods and removing all of the peaceful creatures. Toad goes through the woods in order to defeat Wario's monsters and Wario himself and take back the woods for the sprites that previously inhabited it.
Gameplay
The objective of Wario's Woods is to clear the field of monsters using bombs of varying colors, matching the colors to destroy the monsters. After all of the monsters are cleared the player will move on to the next round.
